Experienced Structural Analyst
Looking for engineer with experience performing structural analysis. Ideally this person would have experience using MSC Patran/NASTRAN, ANSYS Classic, Hypermesh, ABAQUS and/or other high end tools. Significant experience with ANSYS Workbench, Mechanica and SW Simulation will also be considered.
This person should possess significant experience and background with general structural design and validation approach including closed form calculations, free body diagrams, stress predictions, and general component sizing. Understanding multiple modeling and simulation techniques and approaches that could be used to assist in defining the technical approach is critical.
Welded and bolted steel structures experience necessary. Explicit analysis and experience analyzing composites is a plus.
Heavy equipment experience is preferred, but aerospace or automotive experience will be considered.
Preferred location is East Peoria, IL, but would consider other locations for the right candidate with the right references.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
